Stefan Poetzsch was so kind to add ornaments to many of the songs on this site. When you click the according switch area, you see the sheet with the ornaments. In this case you also hear the ornamented version, if you listen to it. The switch area looks like this:

     

There are several variants how the standard ornaments were played by different artists in different times. We have decided to use only one. If you want to know more about it, you can look e.g. at Wikipedia.

- the ornamented main note is replaced
- the main note is always shortened by the length of the additional notes
- next notes are the upper and the lower neighbour note in the current scale.
